Meet Ilja (Scissorface) - Ilja, known as Scissorface, brings nine years of experience and a highly creative approach to the craft. His work is defined by precision, attention to detail, and a strong technical understanding of modern barbering.As one of the longest-serving members of the Falkirk team, Ilja plays an integral role in the shop. He’s a key influence in maintaining standards and supporting the progression of newer barbers, passing on knowledge through example and discipline.With a wide range of fade styles and a sharp eye for detail, Ilja consistently delivers clean, well-executed cuts. Meet Peter (Game of Combs) - Peter, known as Game of Combs, is the manager of our Stenhousemuir shop and a key figure within Downtown. He leads from the front, setting the standard through consistency, discipline, and the way he shows up every day.His approach is methodical and focused — constantly refining his skills and pushing the level of work around him. Peter plays a major role in developing the team, holding standards high while supporting progression through example rather than talk.Calm, driven, and detail-oriented, Peter brings structure, leadership, and clarity to the shop. Conroy Lindsay

Meet Conroy - Conroy is a welcome addition to our Falkirk location. Coming from a background of building and running successful businesses, he brings a disciplined, driven mindset into the shop.He entered barbering three years ago after recognising a long-standing passion for the craft, and he approaches it with the same focus and work ethic that shaped his entrepreneurial journey. Meet John - A long-standing presence at our Stenhousemuir shop, John is a fully qualified barber with years of experience on a busy shop floor. His confidence and technical ability continue to grow, backed by a strong work ethic and consistent standards.Known as the life and soul of Downtown Stenny, John brings humour and energy to the shop — and when he’s not cutting hair, you’ll usually find him on the golf course.

A recent graduate of MADE Academy, he’s stepped onto the shop floor with confidence and taken the role in his stride.He’s adapted quickly to the pace and standards of the shop, showing a strong work ethic, good awareness, and a genuine willingness to develop. The early signs are strong — and everything about his approach suggests he’s on the right path to building something solid within Downtown.
